Lately...

We've been lazy...

We set up two air mattresses the other night for a "mini MTC" the Orange County stakes were hosting. We had two boys stay at our house over night and they had to be in the same room, separate beds.
No luck there.
So out came the air mattresses. It was however really fun. They were so darling and so pumped up to be doing missionary work. I was impressed.
But have we cleaned up the mattresses yet?
NOPE.
This little bug has been sloshing and romping around in them since the day they left. She can't get enough. I caught her at the perfect time for this picture haha. The only calm moment she's had with the blankets and pillows. It was a brief moment.

Taken. Right back at em'

Notice Chris in the background also loving the air mattresses almost as much as Ellie. They were quite cozy...

Since the elder's left we've just been mozying around the house really. Ellie finds her way into my jewelry bag at least once a day. Tangles her little toes in the gobs of beads and moves onto the next destruction. She's my personal tornado.

But don't you love her? This picture makes me smile. She's just so happy to be playing in the house. Some days we just don't leave. We're home bound. Staying in our jammies til noon, eating dry cereal together, watching "What Not To Wear" re-runs and giggling at the messes we've made.
I make them too.
Some days I just don't want a reason to go out and some days I need it terribly. Let's just say lately, we've created our own sunshine inside.
To lazy days with you munchkin.
I love ya.
