Easter weekend was fabulash! It was so warm and sunny outside and spring has been blossoming everywhere you look. Ellie went to her very first Easter Egg hunt and was simply amazing. She knew exactly what to do with her eggs and screamed with excitement every time she found one. It was everything I ever imagined Easter to be.

Needles to say, the Easter eggs haven't left her sight for one minute! They have gone with us literally EVERYWHERE! And if anyone so much as brushes a limb against her basket, she's ticked. She even took a nap with them the other day.
Well Easter this year has brought about a lot of firsts, also among the list-our first earthquake! Just minutes after conference was over, the house shook. Apparently there was a 7.2 magnitude earthquake on the Mexico, California border and holy cow did we feel it. We all stood in the door way and held onto each other as the chandeliers swung and the carpet rolled. It was quite an exhilarating experience! Although I did get worried because I had JUST hung up all these gems in Eliza's room the day before.

Seriously thought that little bird cage and rickity old picture frame were going to heave themselves off the wall. Luckily-I was a good contractor and everything stuck ;-)
And that about wraps it up. Don't you love spring and Easter?? It's so happy and cheerful. The smell of fresh blooming flowers everywhere and crisp clean air makes my heart swell.

I love you Easter.
