Eliza Lately....

Have I told you about Eliza dear?
With her milky skin and girlish cheer?
Her waves of blonde almost white as snow
And dancing everywhere she goes?
The twinkle in her eyes of blue
Her childlike fetish with pretty shoes?
Her giggle and smile that brings out the sun
And how she says "I duh dyou" when the day is done?

OR how about the way she laughs
or smears the chocolate when she's "made a MASS"
Have I told you about her tiny teeth
that sparkle in between her cheeks?
Or what about her wet eyelashes
that stick together in clumped up masses?
Have I told you how she makes a smile
Like the day is long and flowers grow wild?
How the very thought of her makes me weep
to think that she is ours to keep?

I lay her down to bed each night
read a book, and hold her tight
Butterfly kisses for little Liza Lou
Tuck her in..."I duh dyou too"

I couldn't honestly love a single thing more in this life...

Have I also told you she's a modern marvel? In the 5th percentile for both height AND weight and talks more than a fifth grader. The doctor was going crazy the other day when she asked me if ellie said more than 5 words...More than 35 I replied. Yes people. I have a mad talking midget.

And the best one ever-at that.

We love her. TO DEATH! I took her to Disney for the first time the other day and it literally changed.my.life. Best day since my wedding. My cousins bought us a Disneyland pass for the ENTIRE YEAR for letting them stay at our house and taking their family photos. Truly it was the best gift I've ever received.

I'll post some pictures of that later. There are just FAR too many to parooz through and I'm exhausted. But here is an ode to my baby wonder.

I love her.

Tiff...Missing you SO much. I feel like missing out on your house was such a waste!!! I am so mad, but now I feel like I need to come back soon and that is my excuse! Eliza is SO beautiful Tiff. When we got into the car at Grammy's house Tyler said, "Tiff sure has one cute little girl!" just so grown up and aware of how precious your baby girl is! We love you so much and we were so happy to see Chris too. He is the greatest guy. We love him. Know we love you and wish we were there with you every single day! Love Kate
