Whew!

GOOODDDDNNNNESSSSSSSS gracious

I've been M.I.A.-not just via cyber world either, but in almost every way, shape or form possible. Something's been keeping me a bit distracted..

Truly our most hideous moment people. Take advantage-you'll only get it once.
We've been having some fun with photo booth-can you tell??

The little person has been so sick...as have the big people as of late. I'm finally feeling like we are able to put a lid on the whole shebang-which is a good feeling. But here's what's been happening.

The misses (meaning miss priss of course) has had a horrible cough for months now (over 3 to be exact). She coughs all night, wakes herself up, occasionally vomits she's coughing so hard, chokes, cries, screams, roars-poor baby has been honestly miserable, as has mommy for that
matter. I honestly have not had a good night's rest in ages. Not only because toots has been having the coughing fits but because I am SO worried about her I cannot fall asleep. I'm always lying in bed with my eyes and my ears alert, making sure she's still moving, still coughing, still breathing. I've been a nervous wreck.

I've cried, I've thrown tantrums, I've been ill over the matter. We taken toots to the doctor approximately 6 times in the last 2 months-that's three visits a month my friends and with a $30 copay everytime you go, you can imagine the bills we've been ringing up. But it didn't matter-and it still doesn't. She's worth every cent if it means getting her better.

However, she wasn't getting better. Every visit the doctor said she must just have a cold. Well pooh-colds don't last for 3 months my friend. So we'd go back, and back...and back. back again. hi, here again. Member us? Still sick. Two ear infections, 3 sinus infections, a million colds and some tests later-we find the little peanut has what we call "ASTHMA" friends.

come again?

These coughing fits that have nearly thrown me for a midlife crisis is due to nothing other than a little asthma? I was confused, but apparently it makes the little ones cough. Knowing what I know now-it makes sense but heaven sakes peeps couldn't we have diagnosed that the first
time? We're restless!!

Ellie cakes, allergic to kitty kats at her nanny and bobo's house (both names she came up with on her own mind you). The allergies give her a little wheeze in her chest, a little flem in her throat, some water in the eyes and a lot of tissy fits-but understandably so. HENCE, my poor little flem filled frog gets the coughing spells.

As I sat in the doctor's office for the LAST time, this overwhelming feeling of peace came over me. It sounds silly-I do realize with just a cough I'm sure I sound melodramatic-but come on.
When your kid is throwing up at night and nearly choking to death for months you start to worry right? So chris gave me a priesthood blessing a couple of nights before we went to the doctors..again. Then the peace came. This is it, i thought. This is the last visit.

I just knew it.
So now she's got her own official little nebulizer, inhaler, allergy medication and some antibiotics-put it on my tab.
But at least we are better right? Thank heavens, literally, for that.

On a lighter note! Chris and I now have strep throat! But of course, we couldn't miss our long awaited visit to SEA WORLD RIGHT?!?!!? We've been planning this vacation for months, had the non-refundable tickets, and hotel stay (that I won in a mall entry thank you very much) and
we were not about to miss out.

Ellie was just so excited to see "mumble." She is completely obsessed with penguins and happy feet so naturally she was thrilled to see them for what seemed like a total of 30 seconds. But it was worth it. We all look so terrible in these pictures..Whatev. We went, and now it's documented.

Despite her illness she still finds time to make messes like these..

Gotta love her for it.

My dear friend and college roommate Tamara and her little girl Anistyn came out for a visit-this is us getting snow cones at Sno On the Go. The best place ever.

And naturally a snow cone visit wouldn't be complete without matching plaid attire-nevermind that Liza lou was in her jammie best at 6 in the evening out on the town. We're cool like that.

Before all this sickness mumbo jumbo-Chris planned a fun little family night in downtown San Juan and he made us all chocolate malts. He gets SO excited to plan surprises for me-mostly because I GET sooooo excited to receive them. He knows they are my favorite.

We played at the perk..

Had horsey rides of every kind..

stopped by the big red train..

and walked down the streets of san juan.

mark my words, I will live here whether it be in this life or the next.
It's my destiny.

So now we are just waiting to heal-time together seems to make it go faster ;-) Is it okay I'm secretly okay with chris being sick?

I liked having him home..come back daddy.
that's what we say. Strep is not so bad when you're here.
