Something To Love...

Sometimes life just gets a little backwards, a little hectic, and a little crazy. We just recently moved and have had a heck of a lot on our plates and in the midst of all the chaos, I have found there are just some things I really do love..

Simple things just really make me happy.
Such as
The song "LOST" by Anouk. Don't look up the music video. It's totally shady, but the song itself?
D'lish.

Urban barn flea markets in Temecula. It's been a while since I've made the trek but I oodle over the things in their store and on their website.http://urbanbarn155.blogspot.com/

Good movies. Everyone loves a good old fashioned romance. Especially ones that take place in the eighth grade right?I don't know what it was about this movie that just made me heart it so much. Maybe it was Bryce Loski
I'm obsessed with it. I'll buy it the day it comes out.
It made room for some photography inspiration too.
Anyone up for doing a 50's inspired photo shoot with me?

Always, always always online looking at this blog..Just a couple of the things I've found here..

Cold pasta salad on these miserably hot California days..
You know you want some.

And last but not least..my child's current obsession with somersaults.

She's blossomed over the last month. I kid you not. She suddenly sprouted in growth, put on a few pounds, and started speaking English...even a little Spanish. The other day, Dora asked her to say something on TV, and she replied. Every now and then, I think she says dos instead of two.

I've got to find something to keep my energy up in these draining, melting, scorching, heat wrenching afternoons with no AC! Our new house has no ac...
oh, and an ant colony.

Sometimes, we wake up to ants adorning our limbs and marching in rows. I'm not being sarcastic. We've just accepted them as part of the family. I hate to go down for a serious crime but it seems like they may get vetoed here sooner than later. They've become such a part of us now-it really may be tough to say goodbye?

I'm thinking of a moonlight ceremony with Andrea Bocceli and Sarah Brightman in the background serenading us with, "Time To Say Goodbye"
It's a thought.

What simple things make you happy? We've got to think of things. That's what life is all about right?
The simple pleasures.

One thing-well one of the MANY things I really enjoy is laughing with my all time greatest boyfriend.

On occasion, we will have competitions to see who has the greatest gymnastic trick onto the bed at night. Typically I win-but my penguin act didn't go over so well the other night when I could only come up with a meager waddle in the air. Chris on the other hand, esteems himself as the greatest contemporary dancer around. You should see his moves. He's got contemporary and interpretive a little confused.
God bless him.

I'm going to start making a list. My mom started it a while back and I really need to catch fire on the idea. My gratitude journal from the 10th grade is just not cuttin it these days.
Time to start anew.
Fresh.
Grateful.
I love it.
