That I have altogether died.
Or maybe that I've just been neglecting my family blog and filling it up with photography stuff, all of which is nothing I am sure you are concerned about...
woe is me. We have been busier than evaa..I take that back, one time we were busier than this and we had a baby, graduated college and moved states in one month. But this is second busiest.
I do photography, chris is changing jobs, has to get certified for his "funeral insurace license" (don't ask, I'm bad at explaining) so he studies all night, every night until he takes his test on Thursday, we moved (within the same city no more than 5 blocks away, odd, I know) AND to top it all off, I have a blessed 2 year old, who is aging more and more by the minute.
phew... Let's be honest, blogging is much like journal writing. When times are good, it's really easy to write about! I whip out my sturdy blue ink pen, fill my pages with sweet memoirs and hum a tune away. But come a rough patch...nigh night. I don't really feel like writing, or remembering, or rehashing, I'll do it later. So here I am, haven't really been feeling up to it. Don't get me wrong, my marital life is sweet bliss and my hubs is the greatest hubs to boot ( I don't even know what that means) but our environmental circumstances, and the things outside of our control are a little...well, rough. That's all. And I'll leave it at that. Let your imagination run wild! It's more fun that way.
Anyway, we took a trip to Catalina a couple weeks ago. If you haven't heard, I hop on anything that says "ENTER AND WIN" because something triggers in the back of my mind and I really do think I'll win something. Wellp. I did. I won a trip for two to Catalina, so there ;-)

Chris kept calling me "kelly" this day. He thought I had just walked off the set of "Saved By the Bell." I didn't mind it. I'm bringin' 80's back, in a BIG leopard print way ;-)
Catalina was a lot more fun than I had anticipated! HECK! For a free two night stay in the shabby mansion (and shabby it was my friends) I was a happy camper. All I really need is a roof over my head-some people might cringe at that. I rather liked that the 60 year old lesbian couple in the room next door slept with their door open and drank until they turned blue every night. It was kinda fun!On another note-the Mrs.. meaning Mrs. Johnson, the REAL woman of the house, has marked her territory.

Don't tell this girl to do ANYTHING... she'll do the opposite.
And laugh at it for that matter. Never a sad face or a wimper on this munchkin. We spank her (gently..well sometimes) and put her in time out and she thinks it's funny. She's tells US "no no no" just for the fun of it..
OOoooo she's edible. Fiesty, crazy and edible. This age is rather funny. Terrible twos for sure-but also rather funny.
Whenever she bumps into me by accident she says "OH! Sorry babe!"
She sings the words to "need you now" by lady a..she even requests it when we drive in the car and can even out the really long note at the end.
She spells her name and counts to ten (with a little encouragement of course)
If someone is hurt she says "OH! I KISS IT BEDDUH"
Her R's and L's are altogether non-existent and it's amazing.
She recently started putting herself, and everyone else for that matter in "TINE OUT!" and then she lets herself out and hugs me, even when she hasn't done anything wrong. She's so obedient. I swear I'm not that strict! In fact, I'm a total pushover!
She refuses to wear anything other than her tutu and diaper.
She is faster than both her dad and I and could quite possibly out do the road runner.
She will randomly say "I yuh you mommy" and put both hands on either cheek and smack my lips. It's better than kneaders french toast on Saturdays...hard to beat.
She is officially OBSESSED with earrings and shoes, but also loves to squeeze mud between her hands AND unfortunately still play with her poop some days..
It's getting better.
We had some mommy daughter photos taken of us the other day by a good friend. You can check them out here.
I'll leave you with my fave.

I love being a wife and even more, a mom. What more could a girl ask for than to love and be loved??
Not a thing, I say.
I love my hub and babe to the moon and back...seven times seventy.
